Professor Thea de Wet is the Senior Director of Academic Development and Support at the University of Johannesburg, and the past Director of the University's Centre for Academic Technologies (CAT). Thea is an anthropologist who has taught and supervised students in Anthropology and Development Studies for over 15 years.
She is a recipient of the University of Johannesburg’s Vice-Chancellor’s Distinguished Teacher Award and a HELTASA National Commendation for Teaching Excellence.
