Michael Abrahamson

Michael Abrahamson is a South African Memory Expert and Mentalist who recently broke a world record by recalling 1500 digits of Pi in under 5 minutes blindfolded. Michael studied Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of the Witwatersrand and continued his studies at the Institute of Actuaries in London.

Michael became interested in magic at a young age and took lessons from excellent magic teachers. He then decided to study the art of mentalism (or magic of the mind), becoming South Africa’s first bona fide mentalist. He now has a full-scale Power-of-the-Mind Mentalist Show that he has performed around the country. He has also performed on international cruise ships.

Michael is also well-known as one of South Africa’s best sports commentators at the very highest level for both TV and radio for over 20 years. He is also the current champion of Noot Vir Noot Series 44, the longest running music game show on South African TV.
