Eminos Manyawi is a career Accountant who has been in practice for more than 20 years. His career transcends the private and public sectors in equal measure, and has been a Chief Financial Officer or Financial Director or General Manager for over 15 years in total. He is a Chartered Accountant (England & Wales), a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). He also holds an MBA in Strategic Management and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland. He is currently pursuing his PhD studies with the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) of the University of Pretoria.

Eminos has worked in several African countries and is currently the Chief Financial Officer at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU). He also sits on the Finance and Investments Committee of Universities South Africa (USAf) as well as the Audit and Risk Committee of Higher Health.

Recently, Eminos was honoured with a plaque of recognition for his outstanding commitment for supporting the endeavors of HIGHER HEALTH in improving the lives of students countrywide by the  Honourable Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Dr Bonginkosi “Blade” Ndzimande.

Eminos is married and is a father of two Sons and a Daughter, Mutsa. He plays tennis and cycles in his spare time.
